About Us

The Princeton Gerrymandering Project gives Georgia’s most recently drawn legislative districts (enacted in 2023) a poor report card, ranging from a “C” in competitiveness and partisan fairness, to an “F” in racial representation. This is a direct result of gerrymandering; the practice of drawing district lines to favor one group over another. Fair Districts GA — as a non-partisan and non-profit organization — works to encourage a fair and transparent redistricting process in Georgia.

Mission

We educate the public, elected officials, and media about the critical importance of reforming Georgia’s redistricting process, energizing a grassroots movement to eliminate racial and partisan gerrymandering.

Vision

We envision a non-partisan, transparent, and inclusive redistricting process that supports free and fair elections by reliably enacting fair district maps reflecting the demographic diversity and political preferences of Georgia’s voters at the federal, state and local level.
